Masarat

Khaled Jubran is one of Palestine’s most widely reputed oriental lute and bouzouki players. He is also an exceptional composer. In 2001 he created the Al-Urmawi Centre for the music of the Machreq, which organizes workshops for Palestinian musicians and musicians from the region (Egypt, Syria, Jordan, Lebanon). This foundation sets out to preserve the knowledge of the traditional musical heritage and to promote the production of contemporary Arab music.
