Masarat

Tarek Halaby dances behind a wall. The audience only sees him move via projections on the outside. The images are recorded in real-time by security cameras. As a dancer, he wants to experience the feeling of impotence and isolation with his own body, and pass it on to his audience. He expresses this emotionally charged conflict with a good dose of humour and the ability of putting himself into perspective.
